Important update for the Transparent clock & weather application

Recently we have released an important update for the Transparent clock & weather application. This update contains major improvements, bug fixes and new features. Following is a list of the most important changes and additions:

• Added support for international weather forecast. Languages supported are French, German, Russian, Greek, Dutch, Italian, Spanish, Portuguese and Polish.
• Added support for re-sizing widgets (ICS or higher)
• Display battery image according to battery percentage
• Added date display in 4x1 widget
• Added more widget skins (time on the right + bigger font size)
• Added more fonts (including system font)
• Added option to hide weather info (Appearance settings / Advanced)
• Cosmetic improvements
• Fixed menu display (ICS or higher)

One of the things to follow is complete translation of the application in different languages. We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in helping us translate the application in French, German, Russian, or any other language. If you are interested e-mail us.

New theme pack for 3D flip clock & weather application released

The wire theme pack for 3D flip clock & weather has been released on the Google play store. This theme pack contains 3 white and 3 black fully transparent 'wire' skins with transparent, white, black and grey clock flaps. 

Please note that this theme pack is not a standalone application. In order to use it you have to download and install the 3D flip clock & weather application. You can get the new theme pack on the Google play store.

Transparent clock & world weather is available on Google Play

Our newest clock & weather widget is now available on the Google Play website. This widget is based on our previous clock widget but contains lots of exciting new features and options. Here is a brief summary:

Transparent clock & world weather is a full featured, totally customizable digital clock and weather forecast application and widget. It comes in 3 sizes, 4x1, 4x2 and 5x2 and is easy to setup and customize.


The widget features the following:
- 3 widget sizes; 4x1, 4x2 and 5x2 (for Galaxy Note or tablets)
- Several widget skins to choose from (more skins to come)
- 4 weather icon skins
- Different fonts for the time
- Automatic location (from cell/wifi or GPS) or fixed/manual
- Weather conditions and temperature for current location
- Detailed weather forecast display that includes the following:
- Location local time
- Sunrise and sunset time for current location
- Humidity and wind conditions
- Current condition, temperature and low and high temperatures
- Current condition icon
- Last weather update time
- 4 day weather forecast
- Background according to the weather condition and day/night
- Optional display of the current moon phase
- World weather: Choose to display weather information for any number of different locations worldwide
- 8 widget hotspots (most of them can be user defined to launch specific applications)
- Display available phone ad SD card memory, WiFi or 3G state

The widget can be fully customized with the following options:
- Choose the widget and weather icon skins
- Choose the color for any item on the widget
- Choose time font
- Display 12 or 24 hour time with optional AM/PM indicator
- Select the date display format
- Display a manually selected location's time instead of phone's time
- Optionally show or hide specific elements of the widget (hi/lo, battery, status line)
- Use current location to display weather info or specify any location you want
- Get location updates from the network (cell/WiFi) or your GPS
- Celsius or Fahrenheit
- Kilometers or Miles per hour
- Optionally display the next alarm
- Optionally display the week number
- Select automatic weather refresh period (15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1, 2, 3, 4, 6 or 8 hours)
- Unlimited number of world locations

Note that the 4x1 widget does not show the date, next alarm or system information.

3D flip clock & world weather version 0.80

Version 0.80 of the 3D flip clock & world weather application was released today on the Google Play website. This latest version includes lost of improvements, bug fixes as well as new features.

Some of the most important bug fixes include problems with location auto-detection as well as problems with displaying specific locations. In addition, locations can now be exported to SD card and imported back.

Lastly, French localization was added to the application.

Please note: There was a problem in version 0.78 - 0.79 regarding the saving of extra locations on specific devices. This problem is fixed in the latest version, 0.80.

3D Sense clock & weather widget released

3D Sense clock & weather widget has been released on the Google Play store. The widget supports automatic location detection, weather forecast for multiple locations and much more. A detailed list of the features follows:

- Different skins to chose from
- Different weather icon skins
- Portrait or landscape mode
- 12 or 24 hour clock with date
- Optional display of the current week number, next active alarm and battery level
- Current location (city, country) taken automatically from cell/wifi or GPS, or specified by the user
- Weather conditions for current location (condition and temperature, low and high temperatures and weather icon)
- Detailed weather forecast display including the following:
- 4 day weather forecast
- World weather - chose to display weather information for any number of different locations worldwide
- Automatic or manual weather forecast refresh
- Launch up to four different applications by tapping different widget hotspots (everything is user defined)

The widget can be fully customized by changing the skin, weather icons skin, text colors and showing/hiding individual information.

New theme pack #5 for the 3d flip clock & world weather widget released

The Orange and red glowing theme pack (them pack #5) was just released on the Android Market. The theme was requested by a user and features 5 glowing skins in shades of orange and red. These new skins complement the skins in Theme pack #4 and match Mariux's Tron and Glow legacy themes or Tron based wallpapers. Please note that this is not a standalone widget; you need to have the 3D flip clock & world weather application installed in order to apply this theme.
