    1. Please restart your device and try again. There seems to be a bug in the Android wifi location detection module; restarting the phone solves this problem. If you still have problems contact me by e-mail.

  2. It appears the "sunrise" and "sunset" times listed are not being adjusted for the daylight savings time change (USA). The times as listed currently are off by one hour.

  4. Version 0.48 included a lot of new features, improvements and fixes (they are listed above). The release was a major one and included several minor bugs that have been reported by users. All of the updates released since the above version included bug fixes (they are mentioned under the release notes).

  5. There was no change in the size of the weather icon. This could be done in the future by adding a new skin.

  6. Hi, i'm using latest version 0.53 but there are several bugs that i found.
the previous version 0.52 was very solid and stable.
can you please give a link for us to download this version?
(in v0.53 automatic updates aren't working and the locations aren't changing at all, it is just stuck on one location...)

THANK YOU very much for this app!!!

    1. Yuval, there were no changes in the location module in any of the latest updates. You can also try an application reset first (manage apps, Clear data) and re-set up the widget. If that does not fix the problem please email us; if there is a bug in the application, we definitely want to fix it.

  7. Temp reading is frozen most of the time, have reset numerous tmes but stll won't work. When it does the temp is so inaccurate this renders this fine app useless for me

    1. If the time is updating, the temperature cannot be freezing. The weather is updated according to the Weather refresh rate specified under Weather & location settings. You can also tap the temperature to manually update it or set the weather to update on connection (when a connection to the Internet is established) or when the phone wakes up. To check if the weather is updated tap the weather icon on the widget to go to the weather forecast page and from there, check the Last update time.

    2. Hi,
Thanks yes it is refreshing, who is supplying the weather as it seems to be the issue. In comparison it ranges from being 5-10 degrees out compared to the other apps I've used.

  8. Since the latest update, my GPS is being triggered every ten seconds or so, I assume this is the weather GPS update feature? Anyway to control the time between GPS checks?

    1. There were no changes that would affect the GPS/location tracking module. Try restarting your device and if this continues to happen, turn the Use GPS location option (under Weather & location settings) off; the application can still find your location using the cell or wifi network.

  9. This is a wonderful app! It does everything I need. One minor suggestion, though: wouldn't it make more sense to switch the positions of the date and location? Or at least make that a config option?

  11. Dear droid,

I have installed the widget on my Samsung S3 . The only thing that I have an issue with is the Widget time is not syncing with the phone time. It just freezes even if i have checked the option in the widget for time freezing issues.Note that I have restarted my phone twice already..

    1. Please reset the application (manage apps, Clear data) and check that you are not using and task.memory.battery optimization utilities as they could be killing the time updating process. I am also running the application on a Samsung Galaxy S3 without any problems. I am also working an an update with some more bug fixes and new features - it should be available soon.

  13. Hi there,

Have had the app for a ffew months now. In the last week the clock keeps disappearing from time to time and won't come back for a while. Have tried restarting phone and redownloading app without success.

    1. This problem has nothing to do with the application. It could be a system low memory problem - if you have other widget running on your home screen, try removing them and see if the problem is fixed.

  15. I really love the application, however, it makes my phone freeze all the time. I have to take the battery out and restart. When I uninstall and see if its the app, it certainly is because the Accuweather stock application doesn't make the phone freeze at all. I even uninstalled every app from my S3 and left the app by itself, and it froze. Sometimes it freezes once or twice a day. Sometimes none. I wish it wouldn't do this!

    1. It is strange because I am also using a Galaxy S3 for months and it has never frozen. Furthermore, a lot of users use the same device and I have not received any similar error report. If your phone freezes then the problem is something else, not the application. I would recommend that you take the phone back to the phone company for a replacement.

  16. I appreciate your reply my friend. However, it has happened with two S3s. Doubt its the phone....nonetheless, I still love the product. Sometimes you have to sacrifice. =D

    1. When you say 'it freezes the device', do you mean that the time on the widget stops updating/freezes? If that is the case, then the problem is that you are using a task killer or similar application (battery or memory optimization software) that kills the widget's update process - in that case, the widget will look like it is not working/frozen.

  20. Since the last update, my Galaxy Note 3 won't show my exact location, just the county I'm in. I know this didn't appear to be part of the update though. I've tried entering it manually and turning my phone off but it still doesn't fix it. Help! Thanks

    1. To go to settings just tap the minutes on the widget. You can also open up the weather forecast page (tap the weather icon on the widget or start the application) and tap menu and select Settings. To delete a location select Weather & location settings, My weather locations.
