New version of 3D flip clock & world weather on Google play

A new update of the 3D flip clock & world weather application has just been released on the Google Play store. This update contains major changes, improvements and additions. Some of the most important changes are:

New theme pack #5 for the 3d flip clock & world weather widget released

The Orange and red glowing theme pack (them pack #5) was just released on the Android Market. The theme was requested by a user and features 5 glowing skins in shades of orange and red. These new skins complement the skins in Theme pack #4 and match Mariux's Tron and Glow legacy themes or Tron based wallpapers. Please note that this is not a standalone widget; you need to have the 3D flip clock & world weather application installed in order to apply this theme.

Problems with 3d flip clock & weather widget upgrades

After the latest updates to the 3d flip clock & weather widget, several problems were reported by users, mentioning that the widget would not load or the weather would not display. In case you get a similar problem, please follow the steps below to reset the widget. Note that this will clear any settings (including additional weather locations you may have specified).

• Go to the home screen
• Tap the menu button
• Tap Settings
• Tap Applications
• Tap Manage Applications
• Find the widget in the list and tap it
• Tap Clear data and then OK

Go back to the home screen, remove and add the widget again. Wait for a few seconds until the widget finds your location and updates the weather.

The 3d flip clock & world weather theme pack #4 was recently released on the Android Market. The theme was requested by a user and features 3 glowing skins in shades of green and blue that match Mariux's Tron and Glow legacy themes or Tron based wallpapers. Please note that this is not a standalone widget; you need to have the 3d flip clock & world weather widget installed in order to apply this theme.

New versions of the following widgets were published on the Android Market.

Digital clock & world weather

The latest updates feature minor bug fixes as well as changes to the weather forecast screens (including better support for different layouts). You can also add or manage additional locations directly from the weather forecast page by tapping the location area (the top part of the forecast screen) or the menu button.

Another new feature that was added to the Digital clock & world weather widget is the ability to choose the weather forecast server. This option is the Weather forecast server and can be found under the Weather & location settings.

World clock & weather widget for Android

World clock & weather widget for Android has been released today on the Android Market. This widget provides local time & weather information for selected locations worldwide. It comes in two sizes, 4x1 and 4x2 widget. The 4x1 widget displays 2 locations and the 4x2 displays 4 locations.

The widget supports an unlimited number of locations. Following is a list of the main features:

- 7 different skins to chose from (more skins coming in the future)
- 4 weather icon skins
- Works in portrait or landscape mode
- 12 or 24 hour clock with date
- Detailed weather forecast display including the following:
    - Local time
    - Sunrise and sunset time for current location
    - Humidity and wind conditions
    - Current condition, temperature and low and high temperatures
    - Current condition icon
    - Last weather update time
    - 4 day weather forecast
- Unlimited number of locations; enter all your favorite locations and easily keep track of the current time and weather conditions

The widget can be fully customized with the following options:

- Display 12 or 24 hour time with optional AM/PM indicator (if 12 hour format)

A new clock & weather forecast widget is available on the android market. This widget flips, similar to the HTC sense flip clock and it supports a different skins. Like the 3D flip clock & world weather widget, it supports automatic location detection, weather forecast for multiple locations and much more. A detailed list of the features follows:

- Current location (city, country) taken automatically from cell/wifi or GPS, or specified by the user
