After the latest updates to the 3d flip clock & weather widget, several problems were reported by users, mentioning that the widget would not load or the weather would not display. In case you get a similar problem, please follow the steps below to reset the widget. Note that this will clear any settings (including additional weather locations you may have specified).
- Go to the home screen
- Tap the menu button
- Tap Settings
- Tap Applications
- Tap Manage Applications
- Find the widget in the list and tap it
- Tap Clear data and then OK
Go back to the home screen, remove and add the widget again. Wait for a few seconds until the widget finds your location and updates the weather.
If you still have any problems send me an e-mail.
I have just bought a Samsung Galaxy Note and although the 3D flip clock works fine it does have a problem. When you click on the weather when its showing, it goes to a full screen weather with a blue background. when in landscape mode its fine, but in portrait all the text is over the icons and the view is a real mess.
ReplyDeleteIt won't work it meek saying click on the verily and that doesn't work either laurelpettiford@Gmail.com
ReplyDeletePlease be more specific about the problem.
DeleteHi!
ReplyDeleteIs there a possibility to get the weather in Swedish?
I know that other Clock&Weather apps show system default language.
It would be nice to have it in Swedish.
Thanks!
/Claes
This option will be available in the next update.
DeleteWhen I am not on WiFi, but on mobile data, the weather will not update. I know there is an option to disable mobile data, but I have not activated this in settings, so it should work. Is this also a known issue?
ReplyDeleteIf you want to update when on mobile data make sure that the 'Update while roaming' option under 'Network settings' is checked. That could be the problem.
DeleteSitting outside +- 25°c in Dublin, not a cloud in the sky, not a breath of wind, app says, "Dublin, cloudy ".......
ReplyDeleteYour weather forecast data could be outdated. Check the weather last update time field and manually refresh the weather data.
DeleteFurthermore, the weather forecast data comes from weather servers. If the weather server reports 'cloudy', the widget will display 'cloudy'.
If you see that the current weather server is not so accurate for your area, you could select an alternate weather server (this option is found under Settings / Weather & location settings / Weather forecast server).
Any chance of an ad-free pay version!? :)
ReplyDeleteMaybe in the future.
