  1. Still having no luck getting the weather icon updating on the widget on the new update.

    Tried all the usual things like uninstalling the app, reinstalling, removing and readding the widget, anyone else still having the weather icon update problem?

    Was fine until 3 updates ago, any suggestions?

    This is on an Huawei M5 tablet if that makes any difference.

    1. I assume you are referring to the weather not updating automatically. Does it update manually, when you launch the app?

  2. Hi Droid27, thanks for your reply, yes the app updates fine when you launch it, just the widget weather icon won't ever update, tried all the above and selecting another weather provider, but nothing works.

    The widget clock updates fine so obviously the widget is getting updates from the tablet ok.

    When you remove and readd the widget, it updates to the latest app info, but after that it will never update untill you remove it and add it again.

    I've tried the default widget settings just in case it was one of my customised settings that was causing the problem, but it still wont update.

    I've ran out of things to try now lol, it worked great up until about 3 updates ago.

  3. Hi Droid27, my latest discovery is that when I changed screen orientation to landscape from locked on portarait and back, the widget weather icon updated. When in landsacape mode, I couldn't see the weather icon as my personalisation must have text too large for the adjustment.

    I always had the tablet locked on portrait mode before and the icon updated fine, something has changed although not sure what.

  4. Hi again Droid27, I thought I'd try some more weather widgets to see if they work ok. They are all the same, they wont't update until you change the tablets orientation, so apologies for probably wasting your time, it seems it must be something else causing the problem on my tablet.
