More customization options in Transparent clock & weather

New version of Transparent clock & weather will be available soon. The new version, 1.95.10, includes more options for widget customization; you will now be able to change the size of the time and/or widget text. This feature will keep users with poor eyesight happy!

The new options are under settings, Appearance settings - Font size (time) / Font size (widget).

Try the beta version now or install the official update (coming out soon) and check out the new features

We have changed the name of our new app to Alpha wallpapers HD. The app continues to have the same functionality and is updated daily with some of the best wallpapers available.

New app, Wallpapers and backgrounds HD just released

We have just released our new application, Wallpapers and backgrounds HD. The new app features some of the best wallpapers available in an easy to use interface that lets you browse by category, customize the colors with filters or manual controls and crop to the desired size.

Import the World cup 2018 schedule into your Google calendar and see game calendar events on Transparent clock & weather

We have recently published instructions on our website with step by step instructions on how to import the World cup 2018 schedule into your Google calendar and then setup your Android device to sync with that and display upcoming World cup game events on Transparent clock & weather.

The process is very simple and requires two steps - 1st import the World cup 2018 schedule into your Google calendar (this requires using a PC) and 2nd, to enable the World cup calendar on your Android device. Once you do that, you will be able to see all scheduled World cup game events on your home screen using the Transparent clock & weather next event feature. Tap the event on the widget to get more information on the game.

How to import World cup 2018 schedule into your Google calendar

To start, launch your browser on your computer (not your mobile device!) and navigate to www.google.com/calendar If you are not logged-in, log in with the Google account you use on your Android device.

Step 1

Click on Add a friend's calendar

Step 2

Choose From URL

Steps 3 and 4

In the dialog that will appear, enter in the URL the following:
webcal://www.skysports.com/calendars/football/fixtures/competitions/world-cup?live=false
Note: This calendar is provided by Sky Sports. If you want you can use any other calendar you want.
Click ADD CALENDAR

Steps 5 and 6

The calendar will be imported into your calendar. You will notice a new entry under Other calendars called World Cup fixtures. Click the back button to return to the calendar.

You should now see all World cup 2018 games entered into your calendar.

We have just released a new weather forecast theme pack for Transparent clock & weather. Weather forecast theme pack 1 includes minimal design weather backgrounds. It must be downloaded separately but is used with Transparent clock & weather.

Note that this is not a standalone application - in order to use it Transparent clock & weather (free or premium version) must be installed on your device.
