New features in Transparent clock & weather coming soon

Starting from Transparent clock & weather version, you will be able to display the UV index on widgets TCW 05, TCW 08 and TCW 09. We have also added an option to display the wind direction icon instead of text.

Both settings are found under Appearance settings, Advanced settings. 

The new settings are,

  • Display wind icon (enabled when the Display wind option is set) 
  • Display UV index.

Remember that all additional weather information appears on the widget on a single line so make sure to un-check any unnecessary information to make space for the information you want to see.

Transparent clock & weather version now available on Google Play

Transparent clock & weather has just been updated and is available for download from Google Play. The new version of the application, includes important bug fixes, optimizations language corrections and some new features. It also fixes an important bug that affected specific devices after a recent update of Google Play services. Here are the release notes.

We have just finished releasing updates to all our weather applications. The updates were released in order to fix a specific bug that seemed to be connected to the recent update of Google Play services on specific applications.

Problems after the latest (Sep. 12th) update to Google Play Services

It looks like the latest update to Google Play services (released yesterday, Sep. 12th) is causing a serious problem with Transparent clock & weather and the rest of our weather applications. We are still not sure if the problem is caused on every device and Android version but we have a lot of reports coming in regarding this problem.

We have been working on a new update for the Transparent clock & weather application for some time and we currently have a beta version available. We have tested and the new version fixes the problem. If you would like to receive the beta version, you can get it from the following links:

Note that you must have already purchased the Premium version in order to get the new premium beta.
