Weather applications updated - TCW update coming soon

All our weather applications (except Transparent clock & weather) have been updated. The update included many bug fixes and the addition of a new weather provider (this will fix all accuracy related problems). If you have not updated your application yet, please visit the application page on Google Play and do so. Here are the links to all our applications.

3D Sense clock & weather

3D Flip clock & weather

Digital clock & weather

Sense flip clock & weather

Sense V2 flip clock & weather

A new version of the Transparent clock & weather application is being released for beta testers now. As soon as it is tested and all bugs are fixed, it will be released officially on Google Play.

Please note that we will soon be adding support for another weather provider to our World clock & weather application.

Thanks for the patience and support.

Please send us an email if you have any more problems.

  2. Hi,
Regarding TCW: My "next event" stopped pulling in at the exact same time that the weather server problem started. Will this also be fixed in the next update?

    1. There is nothing wrong with the next event (and no connection of it to the weather server) so the problem should be temporary - try restarting your device and see if it fixes the problem.

  3. Weathet still wrong...the site you use as the input is correct, but you display it wrong? Why are you changing the weather data? Your changes aretail off by 15 degrees.

    1. Thanks for reporting this Mike.

Please tell me which application and weather provider you are using and what is your location (email me with the details if you like). I am not changing the weather data but there could be a bug in the parsing of the data; in that case, I can fix the problem.

  6. TCW latest version (0.84.47), two different weather providers on two different android phones with the same Google account:
On android 4.2.1 is WeatherUnderground and on android 4.4.4 is OpenWeatherMap!
    How is this possible?
By the way WeatherUnderground is much better, more accurate and more reliable than OpenWeatherMap.

    1. WU was available for beta testers. Probably one of the devices has an account that is registered as a beta tester. We will be releasing an official update later on today that should make this option available for all users so this should be taken care of.

    1. Thanks Jeff.

This option was available to beta testers until today but we will release an official update today with more options, bug fixes and optimizations. The official release will also include support for Yr.no and Weather Underground as well as Open Weather Map.

  8. Your weather providers suck quite frankly. It's pathetic how off the temp forecast is. How about a REAL weather provider. I've about had it with your Sense app. Tired of all the bs

    1. Thanks for the feedback Craig.

We will be adding another weather provider to all our applications soon and we are still working on adding more in the future. I believe that on of the 3 weather providers should provide a good weather forecast for your location,

  9. Thanks for the feedback Phil. That is a known issue - we will fix it in a future update. We will also consider displaying the actual time instead of a fixed time.
